CCLEC acknowledges World Customs Day
World Customs DayCaribbean Customs Law Enforcement Council acknowledges the celebration of International Customs Day with the launching of its new website. The website has been upgraded to improve the quality of the experience for users of the website. CCLEC recognizes the need to continuously improve to cater for the changing needs of the Customs administrations in the region.

In related news, the Permanent Secretary of CCLEC – Mr Claude A Paul - delivered an address as part of the opening ceremony of International Customs Day celebrations for the first time in the Commonwealth of Dominica. The Prime Minister of Dominica Honorable Roosevelt Skerrit attended the ceremony and delivered the feature address. The Comptroller of Customs Mr Adolphus David also addressed the ceremony and used the occasion to recognize to four customs officers for outstanding service. Dominica celebrated the day with an exhibition centered mainly on the role of Customs in protecting society. In the lead up to the celebrations officers visited several schools on the island and provided students with information on the work of Customs & Excise Department.
